Walk-in showers with clean lines and a dry floor outside them
A great shower looks simple. Behind that is a correctly sloped floor, a continuous membrane, solid blocking for the glass and fixtures placed where they make sense when you are standing in it.
We set the drain and slope first, then wrap the whole wet area — floor, walls, bench and niche — in a waterproof membrane before any tile goes on. That is what keeps water inside the shower and out of your walls.
Glass comes last. We install blocking for the hinges and clamps during framing so panels are anchored to wood, not just drywall.
Shower styles
Curbless
No step at all. Best for accessibility and a seamless look; usually needs the floor recessed.
Low curb
A short tiled curb keeps water in with less structural work.
Linear drain
One slope toward a long drain lets you run large tiles across the floor.
Benches and niches
A built-in bench, corner shelf or recessed niche sized to your bottles.
Rain heads and hand showers
Ceiling or wall-mounted rain heads, slide bars, body jets and thermostatic valves.
Glass
Fixed panels, hinged doors or sliders in frameless, semi-frameless or framed styles.
It was a pleasure working with Johnny! Johnny and his team did a complete renovation of my bathroom. They did a fantastic job and and I am extremely pleased with the results. Johnny is very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to explaining all of the different options available. Johnny communicated throughout the renovation. I would highly recommend Shabo Construction! I am looking forward to working with Johnny again in the future.

I had my kitchen, powder room, and upstairs bathroom done. The work is absolutely beautiful! The team communicated with me throughout the entire process and provided regular updates about everything. I had trouble picking colours that would look nice in the space, and Johnny helped me pick some that would match the style I wanted. The rooms that they worked on were in rough shape, but now look nice and modern. The entire crew was very nice to work with, and I will definitely use their services again in the future!

We had an incredible time working with Johnny. He was so responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. Absolutely the most polite, friendly accommodating guy to work with. And, his workmanship and attention to detail was top notch. Excellent work, no corners cut. My bathroom is incredible, and everything I could have hoped for. 10 out of 10, will use again!!

Questions
Walk-In & Glass Shower Installations: common questions
Often, but it depends on the floor structure. We check joist direction and depth before recommending it. If recessing is not practical, a low curb gives a similar look.
Do you supply the glass?
We can coordinate custom glass for you. It is measured once the tile is finished so it fits the actual walls, which adds a short wait at the end.
Will water get out with a single fixed panel?
With the right panel length, shower depth and head position, very little does. If your space is tight we will recommend a door or a second panel instead.
